Reg Meffert was with 3rd Royal Australian Regiment, 4 pl B COY AUSTRALIAN ARMY in NIU DAT. He was a forward scout and sometimes tail end charlie on operations. He would go out as a company numbering 3 platoons consisting of 4 sections of 11 men. He served one mission in with the Army in 1967-68.
